Our good friends Jess and Terry offered me the cookbook Plenty by Ottolenghi for my last birthday. The images in the book are great and everything looks delicious, so I started to make the food. Dish by dish as days goes by. I spend in between 1 and 1.5 hours to prepare the dishes, which is totally fine for me. I love listening to the radio as I cut and prepare all the ingredients before cooking them. All the recipes I tried so far have been very tasty. Above is Mango and coconut rice salad which you can find on page 244.
Actually, I got so hooked that when I passed by Ottolenghi on Upper Street I bought another book by him; Jerusalem. I will be posting more soon. Meanwhile, I'll be cooking Sweetcorn Polenta with Aubergine sauce which is one of our favourites
I LOVE YOUR BLOG! I am always fascinated by your work.
