We had a great week in KHIO (The Oslo Academy of the Arts) just before easter. We challenged the students to transform a random hallway space inside the schools premises to create a mix up installation between graphic design, interior and art. The students were from Visual Communication and the fine art department. We wanted the students to use found materials and think of ways to recycle and re-use something that has already been made. We all worked everyday in a pop-up studio that we created in the hallway. Together we painted on the walls, folded found papers, customized old chairs and re-composed letters from an old sign. You can see all the pictures from the work in progress on our Facebook Fan Page.
